How we’re paid
Plain-language disclosure of how a free matching service makes money.
You pay us nothing
There is no charge to submit a claim, have it reviewed, or be matched with a collection partner.
Partners may pay us
We may receive a referral fee or other compensation from partner agencies or law firms when a match is made. The service is free to business owners, and that compensation doesn’t change what you pay the partner beyond its normal terms.
What that means for you
- Your partner’s fees are set in your written agreement with them, not by us.
- Ask any partner to explain all fees in writing before you sign.
- You are never obligated to sign with a partner we introduce.
What we never do
- We never buy debts.
- We don’t sell your information to unrelated marketers.
- We don’t take a cut of your recovery from you.
Partner standards
We refer to agencies affiliated with the International Association of Commercial Collectors (IACC)[source], the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA)[source], including agencies certified under its CLLA certification program (annual independent CPA audit, verified trust accounts, surety bond and ethics oversight)[source], and ACA International[source]. Not every partner holds every credential; please verify a partner’s membership or certification with the group before you sign. Read more about partner standards.
